The Kingdom of God
Why did Jesus say “My Kingdom is not of this world”? How do we dissect it from all the times He said the Kingdom was soon to arrive? And when did it officially arrive?
Unfortunately, Andy, there are a lot of false, unbiblical notions about the kingdom floating around in Christian circles. For one, Jesus never delimited his kingdom to only being spiritual. Rather, it encompasses everything, spiritual and physical. When Jesus said his kingdom was not “of this world” — that meant not from this world. It was from heaven. But, once again, it involves all things in this world and beyond it as well
